Family Paralegal
Due to expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen for a family Paralegal to join our award winning firm.
We are looking for a paralegal to support and assist fee earners in our highly experienced childcare team. The ideal candidate will have an established background in family law, particularly public law care proceedings and be proficient in case management systems, court and legal aid portals
The role requires attendance in the office during the week supporting our fee earners but can be situated in one of our 4 offices.

Our Warrington office is the town centre within walking distance of all the local amenities with excellent accessibility for clients. Our Maghull office is located in Central Square - a popular and busy shopping centre in Maghull - in the heart of the community. Bell Lamb & Joynson utilises modern saas cloud-based systems and shares back-office support across our office network.
General Responsibilities:
- Working within the team supporting fee earners in the child care team.
- Dealing with administration of files including CMS with the legal aid agency. We work in a 100% paperless environment.
- Liaising with chambers, solicitors and other professional partners.
- Support and assist Solicitors where needed.
- Dealing with clients and associated 3rd parties.
The role requires the following: -
- Relevant experience in family law as a paralegal.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills in person, by email and by phone.
- Computer literate with relevant experience in Microsoft office and software as a service cloud applications. Bell Lamb & Joynson runs a cloud-based case management system and runs a paperless office.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team and contribute positively to department targets.
- Ambition to progress. Bell Lamb & Joynson strongly believe in the development and training of staff with opportunities for advancement and progression. Since 2021 Bell Lamb & Joynson have awarded 8 training contracts and have 3 colleagues are undertaking Cilex qualifications.

- Salary Bracket for this role is £23,000 to £25,000 depending on qualification and experience.
