Bell Lamb & Joynson Foundation
Bell Lamb & Joynson Solicitors has been at the heart of our communities for over 200 years -supporting people when they needed legal advice and assistance most.
At the same time we have supported and raised funds for many charities, both nationally and locally but we always felt we could do more. We have a great understanding of the needs of our communities far beyond simple access to justice and the provision of legal services. We have looked after many generations of families and have built strong community ties. With this in mind, in 2021, to mark our 200 year anniversary we went about creating the Bell Lamb & Joynson Foundation.
The foundation received charity status on the 3rd of April 2024, Charity Number 1207706.
The Foundations aims are to support our local communities directly by the provision of awards, grants and volunteering days from our team in addition to supporting organisations and local charities that will directly benefit those struggling to cope with life due to illness (physical and mental), improve physical and mental health, addiction, grief, financial hardship, disability or creating opportunities to improve social mobility.
Each year our people will be afforded paid volunteering days where they will be able to give their time to charities and community groups that they either wish to support or to those who have reached out directly to the foundation for support and assistance.
All of Bell Lamb & Joynsons’ fundraising efforts throughout the year will be directed toward the Bell Lamb & Joynson foundation. This will enable us to award grant funding to local registered charities upon application and a selection process by the trustees.
If you wish to be supported by our volunteering days, then please complete an application form here.
Applications for grant funding will open on the 1st of October each year starting in 2025 and close on the 31st of November. Successful applications will be announced in January each year.
Applications must be supported by and submitted internally by one of our people. The foundation will only make grants to registered charities. The foundation will not respond to unsolicited request for grants and support.
