Joe Connor and Lily Dehnad qualify as solicitors
We are delighted to announce that two of our trainees are now qualified Solicitors!
Joe Connor and Lily Dehnad qualified at the beginning of the month after successfully completing their training contract and we are all absolutely thrilled for them both.
Joe started with Bell Lamb and Joynson in 2018 and started his training contract at the end of 2020 and Lily joined the firm in 2019 and began her training at the beginning of 2021. Following qualification Lily takes up a role in our award-winning team as a Conveyancing Solicitor, and whilst Joe started with our property team in 2018, and following qualification takes up a Solicitor’s position in our Private Client team.
Both Lily and Joe have had two years of in-depth training to build upon their degrees and legal practice courses and have successfully completed their training contracts and qualified as solicitors.
Joe said: “Having started with Bell Lamb and Joynson as a conveyancing assistant, I am particularly proud of how I have progressed. Working in the Private Client team has given me a new perspective of the law and I am excited to begin this new chapter as a qualified solicitor.”
Lily said: “The trainee programme is intensive but the support I got during the programme gave me the confidence I needed. I will always be grateful to Bell Lamb & Joynson for giving me this opportunity, and I am so thrilled to be working alongside such an award-winning conveyancing team.”
Managing Partner Mike Leeman said: “Investing in talent is particularly important to me individually and to the firm. We have a great history of training many highly respected lawyers and an incredibly supportive team who are there to help guide our trainees as they learn and progress towards qualification. Well done to both Joe and Lily and we look forward to them growing with the firm into the future.”
We annually award training contracts through our internal recruitment process as part of our defined career progression. We regularly recruit for roles that will lead to the opportunity for training contracts, so follow our recruitment page here for future opportunities.
