Wills Week for Charity – 4th to the 8th of December

The holidays are a time for giving back and sharing joy with our community.

That's why our Private Client team is proud to announce our Wills Week charity initiative in support of Maghull-based nonprofit, Home from Home-Sefton.

Next week, December 4-8, our Maghull office will offer complimentary Will-writing appointments, donating all legal fees to help Home from Home-Sefton continue providing critical services for vulnerable community members.

How You Can Take Part

Getting your holiday preparations in order? We're making it easy by handling your Will, future planning, and philanthropic giving all in one appointment:

  • Call Angie or Rhiann in our Maghull office on 03444124348 or email them here to book an appointment during Will Week 4 to 8 December.
  • Mention "Home from Home-Sefton" to activate the charitable offer.
  • Come to our cosy Maghull office December 5-9 to meet with our Wills specialists.

We'll take care of the legal fees when you take this time to care for your family's future. While meeting with our team, you'll also enjoy our festive window display and refreshments. It's our treat!

Every participant enables us to donate 100% of Will-writing costs directly to Home from Home-Sefton. Home from Home-Sefton is a small non-profit dedicated to helping isolated older adults access personalised, affordable support and community engagement from the comforting environment of the director's home.

The Importance of Making a Will for Your Legacy

According to the National Will Register in April this year, only 44% of UK adults have a Will. Having an updated Will ensures your assets and wishes are handled properly after you've gone. Without clear legal documentation, families risk unnecessary taxes, disputes, and delays in settling your estate.

Our Will Week is the perfect time to check this item off your holiday checklist. We'll walk through all aspects of legacy planning, ensuring you have clear designations in place for property and finances, guardianship of minor children or dependents, power of attorney privileges, charitable giving, and more.

Doing good feels even better when you can see the direct community impact. We look forward to making the holidays brighter through this partnership with Home from Home-Sefton.
