Winners at the Modern Law Private Client Awards 2024
Bell Lamb & Joynson were delighted to be finalists in 3 different categories at the Modern Law Private Client Awards 2024. They took home the winner’s award for ‘Best Use of Technology’ and won ‘Highly Commended’ for ‘Outstanding Client Care (26+ employees).
As usual, the awards event, hosted by Modern Law Magazine, was a glittering affair with a fun theme and a great atmosphere. Held in the Rum Warehouse at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool, the evening was hosted by Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinha, Doctor and comedian, well known as one of the infamous Chasers from ITV’s The Chase. After dinner came the awards ceremony where 23 special awards were presented and once complete, it was time for ‘all the fun of the fair’ as vintage-style funfair stalls were opened for people to try their luck at games such as hook-a-duck, tin can ally and the coconut shy!
The Private Client awards are a key event in the legal diary to showcase and celebrate the incredible work being done across the UK in the Wills, Trusts and Probate sector.
Bell Lamb & Joynson are the proud winners of the ‘Best Use of Technology’ award, a tough category which was full of finalists from top sector suppliers. The Private Client Team, led by Jessica Flaherty, have embraced technology into one of the more traditional areas of law by using new legal software, integrating their CRM system and by using a handy app to onboard clients, communicate and share information. They are spearheading tech initiatives that improve processes and allow solicitors to spend more time with their clients, building relationships, rather than dealing with admin and paperwork.
The firm were also shortlisted for ‘Outstanding Client Care’ for firms with over 26 employees. Client service underpins everything that Bell Lamb & Johnson do, and it is one of their core values as a progressive law firm. They were delighted to be recognised for their achievements over the last 12 months by winning the ‘Highly Commended’ accolade for the second year running.
Commenting on the award win, Mike Leeman, Managing Partner, said: “We are so pleased to have our Private Client department in the spotlight for the incredible work they are doing to leverage legal tech and provide an outstanding level of service to each and every client. Congratulations to all the winners and finalists, the evening was a great celebration of exceptional people and excellent firms.”
