Emma Coathup
Emma Couthup is a dedicated paralegal with our Conveyancing team at Bell Lamb & Joynson. She joined our New Business team in November 2022.
Emma began her journey with Bell Lamb & Joynson in November 2022, starting with our New Business team before advancing to her role as a Paralegal in the Conveyancing team. She graduated with a degree in Law from The University of Law in 2021 and completed her LPC with a Master's LLM in 2023. Before joining us, Emma worked at RMNJ Solicitors as a post completions assistant, gaining valuable experience since finishing university in September 2021.
In her day-to-day role, Emma manages various aspects of the conveyancing process, ensuring that property transactions proceed smoothly from start to finish. She liaises with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders to facilitate timely and accurate exchanges, providing exceptional support throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Emma is an active member of the Merseyside Junior Lawyer Division, where she engages with peers and continues to develop her professional network and expertise.
Outside of work, Emma loves to travel and explore new places. She resides in The Wirral and enjoys camping, with Anglesey being her favourite destination to camp with family, her partner, and friends.
Her travels have taken her to Thailand, Lisbon, and Greece, where she embraces new cultures and experiences. Additionally, Emma loves music and is particularly fond of Afro-beats and artists like Burna Boy.
