Lucie Mitchell

Lucie Mitchell joined Bell Lamb & Joynson in November 2024 as a Family Solicitor.

She qualified in December 2023 at Tracey Miller Family Law, a niche high-street firm where she gained significant experience working with high-net-worth and celebrity clients, as well as handling complex cases.

Lucie graduated from Edge Hill University in 2017 with a 2:1 (Hons) in Law and completed her LPC and Master’s degree in 2020, earning a Commendation. Her Master's dissertation focused on surrogacy law, reflecting her interest in complex and sensitive legal issues. Before transitioning to family law, she spent five years in personal injury, developing a strong foundation in legal practice before pursuing her passion for family law.

In her day-to-day role, Lucie manages a varied caseload, including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, protective injunctions (such as non-molestation and occupation orders), and cohabitation disputes. She takes pride in helping clients through some of the most challenging times in their lives, working to achieve the best possible outcomes with empathy and expertise.

Outside of work, Lucie is a devoted animal lover. She spends much of her time caring for her two Yorkshire Terriers, Minnie and Harry, and serves as the unofficial groomer for her family’s seven dogs. Alongside her canine companions, she also looks after her four mischievous budgies—Rocco, Bobby, Barry, and Pacco—who keep her on her toes. When not tending to her "zoo," she enjoys relaxing on the couch and recharging for her busy days.
