Marcela Salter

Solicitor

Marcela joined Bell Lamb & Joynson in September 2021 and is a Duty Solicitor in the Crime Team based in our Liverpool office.

Marcela graduated with a degree in law from Liverpool John Moores University in 2007 before completing her LPC. Marcela has a Magistrates Court Qualification (Duty) & Police Station Accreditation. Marcela qualified as a solicitor in 2009 and was admitted to the rolls of solicitors in 2016.

Over the years Marcela has gained experience at several firms in the northwest and practised as a Prison Law Supervisor at a firm in Manchester. Marcela loves the fact that every day is different working with the Crime team. Marcela considers herself a people person and always makes sure that her clients are fully advised and prepared for their case, that she provides the best client care and does her very best to get the best results for her clients.

Marcela enjoys spending time with her family and socialising with her friends. Marcela is especially proud of the fact that she managed to complete her law degree and LPC on a part-time basis whilst working full-time and having a young family. She had complete support from her husband and family who helped her achieve her goal and get to where she is today! Marcela has been married for 23 years and has two sons. When she began her studies, it was for them that she kept going so she could make them proud. Marcela is Chilean and English so is fluent in Spanish and English was originally her second language. Marcela is approachable and will always have time to listen. She is a strong team player and is always happy to help her colleagues in any way she can.
