Peter Haney

Senior Caseworker & Police Station Representative

Peter joined Bell Lamb & Joynson in October 2022 as a Senior Caseworker and Accredited Police Station representative with our Crime team. He is based in our Liverpool office.

Peter completed his Police Station Accreditation at Datalaw in 2008.

Peter has been an accredited Police Station Representative for several firms across the northwest, Cheshire, and North Wales and has also operated as a freelance consultant for 2 years.

Peter encourages people to take up free representation during Police interviews and as an accredited representative, spends day and night at the police station assisting some of the most vulnerable people in society. He never tires of telling anyone who will listen, what happens in a police station will determine, on almost every occasion, how the case will run and how court proceedings can often be avoided if the right advice is given in the police station.

Outside of work Peter tries to attend as many Everton FC games as he can. Over the years Peter has climbed the likes of Snowdon, Scafell Pile, and Helvellyn in the Lake District, and tries to climb when has spare time. Peter has 3 children with his partner. The youngest was born in October 2022 and they all keep him very busy!
